Session 62 - Infernexus joins the party

Day 82, 22 Flamerule, continued

The party set off to explore the asteroid.

They were attacked by a group of warriors and a gish - a spellcasting fighter, who inflicted some strong blows on Meera before bbeing fleeing to another plane.

After a short rest, the party found another young red dragon.  When they boasted of killing its mother, hoping to goad it into attacking, the dragon, Infernexus, instead appeared pleased.  After some conversation, it joined the party, after they agreed to take it to the 4th level of the Dungeon for it to make a lair.

After proceeding into some kid of creche, the party was surprised when Infernexus incinerated a room full of Githyanki children.  Although most of the party seemed relatively unconcerned, Horatio grappled with the morality of the situation, and ended up deciding to permit Infernexus to continue in the party, so that he could perhaps cause him to repent.  The party killed a githyanki that had been guarding the children.

On further exploration, they encountered a group of three gish, who were defeated.
