Session 60 - Defeat of Netherskull, and meeting Githyanki

Day 81, 21 Flamerule

The party tried out the key on one of the elaborate doors to where Netherskull's lair was, and sure enough, opened the door.  A battle ensued, but, inevitably, Netherskull fell.

The killing blow wasn't landed by Fidelio, who was despondent and appeared to feel condemned to remain in ghostly form, until Meera surprisingly convinced him otherwise.

The party continued searching the level, and found stairs down.  As they travelled down, the walls gradually became replaced with glowing crystals, and they arrived on a new level.

In the first room, they fought a  glowing crystal golem, and some weak githyanki joined the fight.  Meera spared one of the gith, and instructed the survivor to let the boss know the party was coming.  The gith left, followed by the party, and a large battle ensued in a cavern with crystals containing gith spell casters, and another gith on a red dragon.
