Session 28 - Slaad in the privy
The party moved along the corridor to where the Duergar had been standing, and realised that the Duergar had been considering a carving inlaid with mithral. The party spent about an hour, carefully removing the mithral.
They then continued exploring, entering some rooms where dwarven frescoes and runes depicted the life of a dwarven king, who appeared to have founded the dwarven kingdom forming part of Undermountain. There Mumble picked up a magical statue of a baby dwarf, which turned into a crystal crown.
The party found more gates:
- One with a “D” carved in the keystone, with dancing goblins,
- Another with two elves holding fingers to their lips.
As the party examined the gates, they were attacked by invisible stalkers.
After the fight, the party went to rest. Their rest was disturbed by an umber hulk, but they rested after its defeat.
Day 51, 21 Kython
The party found a room with a powerful musical organ and some other instruments, and killed two duergar who had been in the room. There was another portal arch, its only feature of note being a hand indentation with a symbol of magic in it.
As they explored further, they came across a privy, where an invisible grey slaad was lurking, which attacked Mumble when disturbed.
