Session 20 - defeat of spider-face
Day 42, 12 Kython continued.
The party continued their exploration, heading into what turned out to be a temple to Jubilex, god of oozes and slimes. Despite their efforts, the party couldn’t get a reaction from what looked like a pile of melted gold on top of an altar, and the shrine was unresponsive when Mumble attempted to feed flesh into mouths carved on the walls.
The party defeated an enlarged gelatinous cube, within which a dwarven skull coated in glass was suspended.
They then encountered a Xanathar guild outpost, led by a drow with the face of a spider. After a miscommunication when Meera said ‘Let’s go’, the party was attacked, and after a long battle, the group was defeated. The party sold their loot at the goblin market, then returned to Troll-skull manor to rest overnight.
Mumble found out that his bunker would cost 3,000gp to did the tunnel, and another 2,000gp to build the room at the bottom.
Day 43, 13 Kython
Casey picked up his bracers of defence, and the party returned to undermountain.
The party encountered a drow Rizzeryl, who was initially invisible, and who admitted to working for the Zhentarim (with this group of wererats). However, the party agreed to bring him the head of ‘Nadia the Unbent’ in exchange for an unspecified reward.
The party set off to the area described by Rizzeryl

Yet another NPC saved a grizzly death, thanks to non-violent xp awards. Oh how we have fallen.
