Session 15 - Mirror shadows
Day 36, 6 Kythorn continued
The party continued exploring, finding some statues who were the victims of the basilisk, as well as a black pudding which split when slashed by Meera.
After discussions, the party made a note of the petrified adventurers, considering returning to rescue them.
After a short rest, further exploration located a troll, and some rooms which appeared to have been used as feast halls. After defeating two grells, the party came across an area of the dungeon under organised control, with bugbears and goblins.
They also found some magic mirrors which produced shady duplicates that attacked.
The party returned to Waterdeep, laden with corpses for the taxidermist.
Mirt was waiting for them at their tavern, and let them know that if he gave them a bit of warning, he could likely arrange for Xanathar to leave his lair, allowing them to enter with less risk.
The party rested and recuperated for the following 2 days.
Day 39, 9 Kythorn
The party descended again into Undermountain.
After deciding to leave an apparently malfunctioning Shield Guardian alone, the party found a room full of sleeping goblins, who Shyn fireballed.

Greatsword Flametongue was what I ordered Ithe day after we got the reward), but I'll need to change to frostbrand as I would then be nerfing gloomstalker even more, due to 80ft total light radius. (Darn it, always wanted a flametongue that was actually good). Frostband unfortunately is very rare, even though it is less damaging. On the up side, I could then afford full plate because it is cheaper.
ReplyDeleteOh and I added all my hero points to it, which I think was 7 or 8. What ever the max is for a 5 level character
